I hold 10 active AWS certifications, 3 Azure certifications and specialise in cloud architecture, migration and AI integration. I lead customer engagements from discovery through design to implementation, covering landing zones, multi-account governance, migration programmes and AI agent development. I use AI development tooling to rapidly prototype and deliver working solutions, bridging the gap between architecture and implementation. A calibration and asset management company ran two core business applications on self-managed on-premises servers. No automatic failover, no scaling, manual deployments, limited DR and no path to AI capabilities without significant infrastructure investment.
Full static analysis covering architecture mapping, security assessment (10 categorised risks), maintainability evaluation, test coverage gaps and dependency health review.
Multi-AZ, high-availability design in eu-west-2. EC2 behind ALB, RDS Multi-AZ, Auto Scaling, VPC with public/private subnets, Site-to-Site VPN, WAF, CloudWatch, Route 53 and Secrets Manager.
Itemised cost model verified against AWS Price List API. Both applications running with full redundancy, managed databases, security controls and monitoring for ~$481/month.
Phased rollout using Amazon Bedrock: natural language chatbot, intelligent document search (RAG), automated report generation, predictive maintenance. Total AI cost: $53-97/month additional.
Built and deployed a new compliance module on a live EC2 instance. Proved the migration path works, not just on paper.
The client received a complete, ready-to-execute migration package: executive summary for decision-makers, detailed technical plan for engineers, verified cost model, risk register with mitigations and a working proof of concept. Full redundancy and professional security controls at a cost that compares favourably to maintaining equivalent on-premises infrastructure.
